ROLE OVERVIEW:

The company is looking for a Business Operations Director, a key role working alongside our Senior Management Team, to join RDL. Working directly with the Chief Executive Officer and our investment partner Performance54’s leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of business operations.

The candidate will be at the heart of a rapidly growing and ambitious business tasked with streamlining the management and running of RDL, finding ways of maximizing its efficiency and productivity by working closely with a highly skilled team.  The role requires outstanding organisational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop solutions that will enhance the day to day running of the business. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise and forge essential relationships with Performance54 Group Executives, working closely with their Central Services team to help deliver long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.

The desired candidate will be based in the UK, with occasional overseas travel required.

KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to streamline the efficiency of processes within the business
  • Support in the creation of the long-term company strategy and business priorities, as well as the operational capabilities to reach short-, medium- and long-term goals
  • Work with the finance team to oversee company cashflow – budget planning, invoicing, reconciliation & management of a monthly P/L
  • Create policies and critical path documentation to efficiently manage project timeframes, staffing plans and client reports
  • Collaborate with RDL departmental leads to adapt and improve internal processes and ways of working
  • Lead on all governance requirements of the business and ensure adherence to compliance procedures, laws and regulations
  • Providing monthly operational reports and prepare quarterly reports for Board Meetings & AGMs
  • Allocate company resources, materials and equipment to enhance productive functions, supply chain and delivery management
  • Create operational strategies that minimize company costs and increase employee productivity
  • Manage and oversee all staffing requirements including the contracting requirements for all Freelancer & Fixed Term Staff, with support from the Performance54 HR team

  • Manage and monitor staff workload to ensure efficient delegation of resource
  • Oversee RDL communications both internally and externally, including the website & LinkedIn page
  • Provide support to the CEO on business documentation, client management and administration
  • Ensure effective implementation of health and safety standards
  • Manage client databases and monitor satisfaction results
  • Manage internal systems and processes to drive efficiencies
  • Manage external suppliers
