Business Development Manager – UAE

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The opportunity exists for an experienced and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join the Reddoor Live events team, leading the acquisition of new event opportunities in the UAE territory. The desired candidate will report into the Commercial Director, RD Live and be based at the UAE office in Dubai.

A comprehensive knowledge of working within major sport events is required, with the preferred candidate holding at least 5 years of experience in partnerships and sales in sports, entertainment and experiential. Strong written and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate should have excellent relationships within the event landscape and be able to pull on an extensive list of potential contacts within the UAE Region. This position will require a self-starter that can adapt accordingly.

The role is shaped to help RD Live acquire new partners within UAE and continue to build upon for its events portfolio with a focus on driving business revenue. The candidate should have prior experience of working in UAE markets.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new business opportunities across markets in Fan Zones, Experiential Activations, Brand Activations, Sports Activations & Festival Promotions.
  • Work collaboratively alongside sister company 54, to identify, nurture and execute relationships in the territory.
  • Focus on key development markets in UAE.
  • Regular updates to the CEO & Commercial Director utilising the Commercial Tracker pipeline.
  • Development, tailoring and distribution of commercial sales materials specific for the UAE.
  • Ensure market research in place to assist with development opportunities.
  • Act as an ambassador for RD Live ensuring that the business is continually recognised as #No1 title in brand and experiential activation within UAE.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and fluent in both English and Arabic.
