World Cup 2022 Oman Football Fan Festival

Reddoor Live were responsible for delivering this unforgettable experience which was held in an area spanning over 9000 square metres in the external garden forecourt, becoming the largest celebration of football in Oman, and bringing the whole country together as a result.

It welcomed close to 100,000 attendees over 23 live match days of the 2022 World Cup. The Football Fan Festival screened all 64 matches of the 2022 World Cup across 6 big screens; however, it was more than just an area to watch the games.

The Reddoor Live team specifically designed this to be a fully integrated event experience, appealing to all interests and ages, with some of Muscat’s best street eats in the Food Village to suit both international and local visitors, a safe and enjoyable Kids Area, interactive, innovative and skills-based technology games and live entertainment that celebrated the regions and cultures of World Cup teams.

Right from the moment the doors opened on November 20, the Football Fan Festival was hugely popular, exceeding all expectations in attendance, receiving numerous accolades from visiting guests, and it was said that this was one of, if not the best, football fan festival for the World Cup across the entire GCC region.
